"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

okays, so you go to the top of the page by ur name and click on the arrow beside it and click "Submit Deviation" (or go to ur page to the tab on the top that says "Submit Art")
It's basically self-explanatory when u get to that page, but Type in ur Title. Click "Change" under "Category" and pick the most appropriate.
Click "Add File" to upload the file from ur jump drive or computer or wherever u have it stored electronically...
You may want to change your "Fullsize view" to make it as large or as small as u like for ur viewers. You can either add a watermark or allow people to download ur art, so click on the box u want.
Add ur comments about ur piece and type in some words u think will help in searching for it under "Keywords"
Click on the appropriate options in the next few sections and choose a creative commons license if u like
Click submit. A screen about art prints should come up, you can skip this if you don't want to make a print out of your picture by hitting "no thanks"
